Tom Brady: Scotty Miller deserves 'big role'

After Friday's practice, Buccaneers QB Tom Brady said that WR Scotty Miller is "displaying to everybody that he deserves a big role," according to Scott Smith, writer for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact:

Miller appears to have left Justin Watson and injured rookie Tyler Johnson in his dust for the third wide receiver/slot role. The Bucs offense has a lot of mouths to feed, but Brady likes the slot receiver safety valve option, so Miller will have his days in fantasy.

The Saints officially listed QB Derek Carr (left hand/concussion) as doubtful for Sunday vs. Washington. Jake Haener will make his first NFL start.

RB Alvin Kamara (illness) is off the injury report and good to go.

Fantasy Impact:

It would have been an easy click for a Kendre Miller week if Kamara were forced to miss, but this puts the kibosh on that. Fire Kamara up as an RB2 this week in a game that may feature him even more than usual with no Carr.
