Titans RB David Cobb to debut tonight, will 'mix in'

Titans promising rookie RB David Cobb (IR/to return) will make his debut tonight, I’m told. Antonio Andrews will start, Cobb will mix in.

Fantasy Impact:

The Jaguars have been surprisingly stingy against the run, allowing just 3.3 YPC on the season. But they've given up eight rushing touchdowns in nine games, so there's a chance that Andrews or Cobb hits pay dirt tonight. We're not expecting more than 6-8 carries for Cobb in his first game back, but the team may have decided that it has seen enough of Andrews.

Buccaneers WR Emeka Egbuka, listed as questionable with hip and groin injuries, is expected to play Sunday against the Jets.

Fantasy Impact:

Egbuka missed practice Wednesday but was able to get a limited practice in on Friday, a positive sign for Sunday. The Bucs are already dealing with a number of injuries, particularly on the offensive and defensive lines. Egbuka has already busted onto the scene with three tackles touchdowns in his first two NFL games.

The Chiefs have ruled out WR Xavier Worthy for Week 3 against the Giants.

Fantasy Impact:

Worthy is making progress, as he was limited all week in practice and was initially listed as questionable. The Chiefs may just be being cautious with Worthy this early in the season. But this could lead one to believe Worthy could be back in Week 4.
