Taiwan Jones running with first team

With neither Raiders RB Darren McFadden nor Mike Goodson able to practice Wednesday, Taiwan Jones picked up the first-team reps at running back Wednesday.

"He’s been a little up and down," Raiders coach Dennis Allen said of Jones. "A little injury-prone, or injury-plagued, and so it’s been kind of tough to evaluate because he’s missed some time. But we've got confidence in Taiwan and if he’s called on to step in and play, then we fully anticipate him stepping in and perform and do his job."

Fantasy Impact:

Jones is a smaller speed back who has never carried the ball more than seven times in a regular-season NFL game. Last year, he carried the ball 16 times for 73 yards (4.7 YPC). He's likely to be the main ballcarrier with both McFadden and Goodson out, but Marcel Reece will be heavily involved, even if it's just in the passing game.
