Steven Jackson out for Rams with groin

Needless to say, any injury to Steven Jackson would be devastating for the Rams.

Jackson left Sunday’s game against Washington late during the second quarter with a groin injury. He was able to walk off the field under his own power, but was noticeably limping.

Jackson was visibly in discomfort on the trainer’s table, where his right groin area was worked on. After some time on the sidelines with trainers, he made his way to the locker room with several minutes remaining in the first half.

Officially, Jackson is questionable to return. Kenneth Darby took over in the backfield on the team’s final drive of the half.
