Steelers End 2-Game Skid

"We had to answer the bell," Ben Roethlisberger said. "We moved the ball all night. I told (running back Rashard Mendenhall) to squeeze it up. He did a great job of running the ball, and the offensive line gave us time in the passing game and opened up holes for (Mendenhall). So you've got to give those guys a lot of credit."

Mendenhall, starting in place of injured Willie Parker, responded with first-half touchdown runs of 1 and 2 yards in helping Pittsburgh take command 21-0 by the break. He finished with 165 yards on 29 carries, more than his career total coming in.

Steelers reserve running back Mewelde Moore scored a touchdown and threw for one.
