Kraft reiterated his desire to have all players working out in Foxborough for as much of the offseason as possible, even though Brady spent much of the winter and spring on the West Coast with his older son and traveling the world with his wife and infant son.
But as a father and family man, Kraft understands Brady’s need to spend time with his young family. He added that it is difficult to judge what is right or wrong, noting that Brady’s life has changed greatly in the 10-plus years since he was drafted.
“Look, we are so lucky to have Tom Brady,’’ Kraft said when asked about negotiations. “He’s under contract. He’s here. I’m privileged to have a pretty special relationship with him. And I think he knows how I feel about him. I think we both want to solve the problem, or the issue. I don’t know that it’s a problem . . . it’s complicated.
This story offers little fantasy impact at present. Just about everybody believes the "disconnect" will be resolved. However, it is wise to monitor the situation.
