Rob Gronkowski out 4-6 weeks with broken forearm

Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski had another one of his monster games in the blowout win over the Colts, but on the final extra point, the record-setting tight end broke his forearm. According to sources, Gronk has been told he’ll miss 4-to-6 weeks.

Fantasy Impact:

He's scheduled for surgery Monday and while his season isn't over, it could be in terms of fantasy. Best case scenario likely brings him back for weeks 16 or 17, as perhaps a tuneup for the Pats playoff run. But, this is a huge blow to owners. While there are probably serviceable options on the waiver wire, owners won't be able to replace his production in the lineup. Aaron Hernandez's value looks to be skyrocketing. The Pats play at the Jets Thanksgiving night on a short week.
