In three games since returning from IR, Derrius Guice has showed some signs: He scored on a 45-yard screen pass against the Jets two weeks ago; he'd drive through defenders at other times, even if only for gains of six or seven yards.

Fantasy Impact:

Guice rushed 10 times for 129 and two TDs this past week, perhaps a sign of things to come for the Redskins to can add QB Dwayne Haskins and WR Terry McLaurin to the mix of young, talented offensive players. The goal for the team now is to entice a new coach and excite the fan base, the story added.

The Raiders cut RB Jeremy Hill on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Hill only lasted a couple of days before getting cut, meaning he was likely only signed as an insurance policy for the running back room in this unique offseason. Hill could turn up as a veteran option somewhere else given the uncertainty surrounding this season, but he is unlikely to pay fantasy dividends as he has not played in the NFL since 2018 and is coming off a torn ACL.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Buccaneers Head Coach Bruce Arians announced that RB Ronald Jones will be the "main guy" in the Tampa Bay backfield this season and will "carry the load" while the other backs find their role.

Fantasy Impact:

The Buccaneers signing of LeSean McCoy last week had fantasy drafters worried about Jones' fantasy prospects but Arians cleared up any uncertainty on Wednesday when he explicitly annointed Jones as Tampa's lead back, at least for early-down rushing work. Rookie RB Ke'Shawn Vaughn sparked intrigue in the fantasy community when he landed in Tampa, but he remains on the reserve/COVID list and is clearly behind Jones on the depth chart. It still seems unlikely that Jones gets a true workhorse role this season, but Arians' latest comments should instill confidence regarding his rushing workload and give his ADP a slight bump.

Dolphins WR Albert Wilson opting out of 2020 season

Dolphins WR Albert Wilson announced that he is opting out of the 2020 season.

Fantasy Impact:

Wilson joins teammate Allen Hurns in opting out. Wilson has largely disappointed in Miami during his two seasons there, but he was poised to benefit from Hurns' absence and the Dolphins' receiver depth chart is now reduced to Jakeem Grant, Isaiah Ford, Mack Hollins and Gary Jennings behind starters DeVante Parker and Preston Williams. Wilson's opt out could mean a small uptick in targets for Parker and Wilson and further involvement in the passing game for RB Matt Breida.
