RB Clinton Portis Likely To Practice Soon

While news regarding Donovan McNabb is not the best, there was some positive news from Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan concerning running back Clinton Portis, who sprained his right ankle against the Jets Friday night.

"I don’t think it’s too serious. It’s not a big setback," Shanahan said. "I would anticipate him being able to practice in a couple of days."

Fantasy Impact:

It's hard to get excited about Portis as a fantasy player, but he should carry the load for Washington and might be useful if he's got a favorable matchup.
