Ravens trade for WR Lee Evans

The Buffalo Bills have traded receiver Lee Evans to the Baltimore Ravens, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Friday.

The Bills will get a fourth-round pick in the 2012 draft from Baltimore.

Evans, considered a high-value vertical threat, had said this week that trade talks were just a part of the game.

Fantasy Impact:

This is a boost for both Lee Evans and Joe Flacco, who desperately needed another target in the passing game besides Anquan Boldin and the TE duo of Ed Dickson/Dennis Pitta. It's generally not a good thing for a WR to change teams, but Evans has only gained 1,190 total yards in the last two seasons, so a change of scenery (and Flacco's strong arm) might do him some good. He's worth a flier in the later rounds as Baltimore's likely WR2. Torrey Smith and Tandon Doss are obviously hurt by this move.

In Buffalo, this probably won't have much of an impact on Ryan Fitzpatrick. The Bills don't have any big names to line up opposite breakout star Steve Johnson, but they have a lot of WRs on the roster, so someone will likely emerge. Roscoe Parrish is next on the depth chart.
