Ravens Rice should be okay

Ravens' running back Ray Rice left the stadium last night with a crutch, but the crutch was given to him for possible assistance.

There was speculation that Rice needed the crutch to walk because of the injured knee, but Rice basically was forced by the Ravens' medical staff to use it.

Rice left the game against Cleveland with ten minutes remaining after he injured the knee on a tackle following a four-yard gain off a reception.

According to a Ravens observer, Rice didn't need the crutch to walk, but the medical staff gave it to him anyway. Rice used it sparingly, even jokingly at times, but did walk with a slight limp.

Rice is expected to get an MRI on his knee later today. Ravens coach John Harbaugh reported after the game that initial diagnosis showed no ligament damage.
