Ravens practice notes:

The Ravens got a spot of good news as Terrell Suggs appeared to practice Thursday without any hesitation or reservation after sitting out Wednesday’s session with a chest injury. With Sunday’s contest against the San Diego Chargers looming, the three-time Pro Bowl linebacker has never missed a game in his seven-year career.

"He’s really 100 percent," DC Greg Mattison said prior to practice. "He’s just got a little soreness in his stomach, in his rib area. He’s fine."

Five-time Pro Bowl free safety Ed Reed (concussion), linebacker Tavares Gooden (sprained right knee) and tight end L.J. Smith (pulled left hamstring) also practiced.

"We definitely do," Mattison said when asked if he thought Reed and Gooden would play Sunday. "Obviously, that’s the trainer’s responsibility, but they have given us every bit of optimism."

Only safety Tom Zbikowski (concussion) did not practice.
