Patriots RB Rex Burkhead placed on IR

The Patriots will be putting RB Rex Burkhead (neck) on IR today, per league source.

Fantasy Impact:

As long as Burkhead is sidelined, we're expecting a Sony Michel/James White committee with pretty established roles. Michel will handle most of the carries and White will get a lot of work as a receiver. The Patriots have already added Kenjon Barner and may look to add another running back this week to shore up the depth behind Michel and White.

RB Alvin Kamara (illness) is off the injury report and good to go.

Fantasy Impact:

It would have been an easy click for a Kendre Miller week if Kamara were forced to miss, but this puts the kibosh on that. Fire Kamara up as an RB2 this week in a game that may feature him even more than usual with no Carr.
