Patrick Mahomes signs a 10-year extension with the Chiefs

Chiefs and QB Patrick Mahomes have reached agreement on a 10-year -- 10-year! -- contract extension that ties him to Kansas City through the 2031 season, league sources tell ESPN.

Fantasy Impact: 

Patrick Mahomes will now be crushing it for fantasy drafters through 2031.

Packers WR Randall Cobb (core muscle surgery) was activated from IR.

Fantasy Impact: 

His return matters with Marquez Valdes-Scantling (back) doubtful for Saturday. Expect Cobb to run his routes closer to the line of scrimmage in his return with Allen Lazard stretching the field more in the MVS role.

Buccaneers RB Ronald Jones (ankle) and WRs Breshad Perriman (hip/abdomen) and Cyril Grayson (hamstring) did not practice Thursday. RB Giovani Bernard (hip/knee) was limited.

Fantasy Impact: 

Leonard Fournette is practicing and looks to be an option off IR this week, which means RoJo can sit out again and Bernard can be the receiving back. Perriman and Grayson not practicing thins an already small receiver room in Tampa that could see Mike Evans shadowed by Jalen Ramsey Sunday.

Chiefs RB Darrel Williams (toe) did not practice Thursday ahead of Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills.

Fantasy Impact: 

It is more than likely that Williams will not play Sunday. That puts the onus on Jerick McKinnon and Clyde Edwards-Helaire to lead the Chiefs backfield.
