Miami Dolphins sign RB Frank Gore

The Miami Dolphins are replacing Damien Williams with Frank Gore. The former Colts RB signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins.

Fantasy Impact:

Gore will team up with Kenyan Drake to form a 1-2 duo at the RB position. Gore has spent the last three seasons of his career in Indianapolis and finished as the No. 18 scoring RB in PPR leagues last season. He's someone you might consider targeting as an RB2/RB3 option in drafts later this summer.

The Saints officially listed QB Derek Carr (left hand/concussion) as doubtful for Sunday vs. Washington. Jake Haener will make his first NFL start.

RB Alvin Kamara (illness) is off the injury report and good to go.

Fantasy Impact:

It would have been an easy click for a Kendre Miller week if Kamara were forced to miss, but this puts the kibosh on that. Fire Kamara up as an RB2 this week in a game that may feature him even more than usual with no Carr.
