Lions lock up RB Theo Riddick to a three-year extension

Detroit has locked up two key players under 27 years old, agreeing to extensions with running back Theo Riddick and punter Sam Martin. Riddick and the Lions came to terms on a three-year extension worth $12.75 million, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source with knowledge of the contract.

Fantasy Impact:

This shows a commitment to Riddick. He had 80 catches last year and was a big part of the team's passing game. He may see a few extra carries this year as well, if offseason reports are to be believed.
