Free agent WR Tyrell Williams has signed a one-year, $6.2 million deal with the Detroit Lions. Williams was recently released by the Las Vegas Raiders.
With the Lions wide receiver room in flux, the addition of Williams gives the Lions at least one proven wideout heading into free agency and before the Franchise Tag window closes. Despite a reduction in production each of the past four seasons he has played, the veteran increased his catch percentage and yards per target over that same time period. The Lions as an offense are difficult to get excited about so far this offseason, but there is still time for the new regime to make the team competitive and Williams trustworthy in fantasy.
#Jets GM Joe Douglas said he “will answer the call” when teams call about trading for Sam Darnold.
Several teams are reportedly interested in acquiring Sam Darnold via trade, while the Jets are expected to draft a QB with the second overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft. Darnold is currently ranked dead-last in 4for4's never-too-early rankings.
