Jaguars RB Toby Gerhart showed he is ideal for a third-down role when he had a solid pass protection period, rebounding from a loss to LB Dan Skuta to stonewall LB Khairi Fortt and LB Telvin Smith.

Fantasy Impact:

Gerhart blew his chance to be the team's feature back, but it wasn't entirely his fault as he struggled mightily with a foot injury. T.J. Yeldon is expected to start, but Gerhart will vie with Denard Robinson for touches behind the rookie. Gerhart has caught 76% of his career targets, which is in the same range as the 2014 catch percentages of LeSean McCoy, Eddie Lacy and Justin Forsett. The point is that he has good hands a big body that will help in pass protection. Don't be surprised if it's Gerhart, not Robinson, who plays more snaps behind Yeldon.

For the second straight day, neither Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) nor Greg Dortch (chest) practiced today.

Fantasy Impact:

Looks like we could be in for another Week sans MHJ, which is a massive boost for Michael Wilson. If the former were to miss, the latter can be considered up in WR2 range.

Commanders QB Jayden Daniels "trending in right direction" for Week 14

Commanders upgraded QB Jayden Daniels to a full participant at today’s practice.

He is trending in the right direction to start Sunday at Minnesota.

Fantasy Impact:

Looks as if Daniels is trending towards playing in Week 14, which would put him right back into the fantasy consciousness. We could potentially see a sophomore showdown between him and J.J. McCarthy, but there's also the possibility that neither ends up playing. We'll keep an eye on the situation as the week rolls along.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown Active for TNF

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, who did not practice this week due to an ankle sprain he suffered Thanksgiving Day vs. the Packers, officially is active tonight vs. the Cowboys — to the surprise and relief of his team.

Fantasy Impact:

Wow. It was reported just hours ago that the realistic expectation is that ARSB wouldn't return until Week 15. Jameson Williams remains a must-play but we should probably temper expectations on St. Brown being in his usual target-hog role. He should still be started, but likely thought of as more of a WR2, even if he's on a snap count.
