Dolphins activate Arian Foster

The Dolphins activated former Pro Bowl running back Arian Foster from the physically unable to perform list. Sunday will mark Foster’s first practice in a Dolphins uniform.

Fantasy Impact:

Let the camp battle begin. Foster had drawn a lot of compliments from HC Adam Gase up to this point. We should start to see how the Dolphins will use Foster and Jay Ajayi going forward and what it will mean for their fantasy value.

In an effort to combat COVID-19, NFL teams are likely to bring fewer than the regular 90 players they ordinarily bring to training camp, per league sources. One source is predicting 80 per team, another 75, but no one is expecting 90.

Fantasy Impact:

Having smaller rosters at camp could hurt the undrafted free agents looking to make teams in 2020.

Bills beat: Devin Singletary to be more involved in passing game in 2020

Joe Buscaglia: I believe the Bills would like to get Singletary more involved in the passing game this year, too. He’s an underrated route runner and his open-field vision makes him a potentially dangerous pass catcher. Singletary would likely draw the assignment of a linebacker or safety, and the Bills will like that matchup with how often he makes people miss.

Fantasy Impact:

Devin Singletary averaged 3.4 targets per game in 2019, but Buscaglia expects that number to rise in his sophomore season with the Bills. The Buffalo back is ranked as RB29 in half-PPR formats on 4for4.com and is leaving draft boards as a late-fourth to fifth-rounder.

2020 preseason has been cut in half, per source.
"Specifically, Week One and Week Four have been scrapped. The league is expected to announce the move on Thursday."

Fantasy Impact:

With the COVID-19 pandemic still very much in the mix, this is a no-brainer for the NFL. In Week 1 we don't usually see much from the starters and Week 4 is pretty useless from a fantasy-scouting perspective.
