Browns WR Jarvis Landry (hip) was activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list Saturday
Landry is recovering from offseason hip surgery but passed his physical Saturday, allowing him to come off the list. He’s our current WR29 in half-PPR. His health looks good and he will still be a solid part of the Browns offense, under new head coach Kevin Stefanski. He’s been going around the 6th-7th rounds.
From a fantasy perspective, the obvious winner here is Antonio Gibson, an exciting and versatile prospect that Ron Rivera compared to Christian McCaffrey on draft night. He averaged 15.6 yards per touch last year and led all skill position players in yards after contact per attempt. Adrian Peterson may begin the season as the RB1, and showed last year (211 carries, 898 yards in 15 games) that he's still capable of holding down the fort.
