Cardinals say QB Kyler Murray 'still progressing' through ankle injury

Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said to reporters on Monday Kyler Murray is "still progressing" in his "day-to-day" recovery after the team's long weekend. They'll see how well he can play through his injury in practice on Tuesday and Wednesday before their next road game at San Francisco 49ers (3-4) this Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Kingsbury said Murray has played before without being able to use all his tools, so an ankle injury would likely mean less mobility and more of the run game if the team decides to play Murray. McCoy would get the start if Murray can't go and other reports say the injury could keep Murray out 1-3 weeks. The Cards play in a late afternoon game against the 49ers in Week 9.
