Broncos Beat: Montee Ball, Cody Latimer are the 'biggest disappointments' of camp

The Denver Post named Montee Ball and Cody Latimer the "biggest disappointments" of camp.

Biggest disappointment: Montee Ball failed to gain traction in the new offense. He is a smart player, a hard worker, but he does not look like the player he was at Wisconsin or even during his rookie season. There haven't been many holes to run through, but in the NFL you have to make tacklers miss and break tackles, which Ball has not done with any consistency.

Receiver Cody Latimer also failed to make big plays, which could cost him snaps as Andre Caldwell and Jordan Norwood receive opportunities before him.

Fantasy Impact:

It sounds as if Latimer may not have a solid hold of the WR3 spot. He's not going to play much if HC Gary Kubiak sticks with his usual two-TE sets. Ball has fallen down the depth chart and is in danger of getting cut.
