Bengals WR A.J. Green thinks he'll be "fine" and good to go for next week after a groin injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Green described the play as coming down on his hip and his bones hit against one another. He said he didn't feel anything pop and should be fine and expects to play. It's all good news, but as we've learned in the past, we can't always take what players say as fact. We'll have to monitor Green this week.

Teddy Bridgewater retires from NFL (again)

Lions quarterback Teddy Bridgewater informed the team Sunday he is stepping away from the team and retiring from the NFL.

Fantasy Impact:

This is the second time Bridgewater has decided to retire from the NFL. The 33-year old was officially placed on the reserve/retired list. He came back to the NFL in 2025 after initially retiring after the 2023 season. As of now, undrafted free agent Luke Altmyer is behind Jared Goff.

More optimism Malik Nabers will play Week 1

ESPN Giants reporter Jordan Raanan said Saturday that, barring a setback, wide receiver Malik Nabers should be ready for Week 1 against the Cowboys.

Fantasy Impact:

Raanan says Nabers has participated in nine of the Giants’ ten practices thus far after not being placed on the physically unable to perform list to start camp and has looked better with each practice. Head coach John Harbaugh wants to start getting Nabers involved in more live drills over the next couple of weeks, but as it stands now, Nabers is on track to be on the field to start the season, which will increase his fantasy value as we start getting j to more drafts throughout August and into September.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers suffered a quad contusion during Saturday’s practice.

Fantasy Impact:

Flowers had just signed a four year extension worth $140 million. His $35 million average value tied him with Justin Jefferson. He is considered day-to-day and we will have more updates as they come along.
