Devin Aromashodu was thrilled to hear offensive coordinator Mike Martz say the receivers will be "the strength of the team'' this season. And Martz said to put his statement in granite.
"It definitely makes us feel confident as a group, knowing that he has that much faith in us,'' Aromashodu said. "It gives us that much more confidence coming off last year. He has been really cool with us, working with us as a group and making sure we learn everything.''
Aromashodu is working at a number of receiver spots, including the slot.
Devin Aromashodu working out of the slot is interesting, as last year he primarily lined out wide. However it's far to early to take much from this report. We will continue to monitor the Bears WR situation. If Aromashodu wins a starting job we like his chances to emerge as a playmaker for Jay Cutler.
