Bears Anthony Miller returns to practice

Tuesday was the first time that Anthony Miller was inserted to close-to-live team drills.

The story added Miller was noticeable, too, making several catches throughout the day in various drills. In his second season, Miller improved on his 33-423-7 rookie season with 52-656-2 as a sophomore. He played behind Taylor Gabriel when Gabriel was healthy, and the Bears signed Ted Ginn to replace Gabriel, so it remains to be seen just how much they’ll utilize Miller. But when they’ve called upon him, he has delivered. In seven games that Gabriel missed, Miller averaged 4.1-53-0.29 on 6.4 targets compared to just 2.6-32-0.0 on a meager 4.4 targets when Gabriel was active.
