Antonio Brown to meet with NFL next week

Free-agent WR Antonio Brown will meet with the NFL next Wednesday and there are teams interested in Brown "pending the resolution of the league's investigation".

"My understanding is Brown is eager to present his side and that there are teams still interested in signing him pending the resolution of the league's investigation, per sources," reported Anderson who says Brown is "eager to present his side". There is still plenty to sort out with Brown's investigations and it will be interesting to see whether teams are actually truly interested in Brown with all the drama that would come with signing Brown. It's still hard to imagine a team taking a chance on Brown this season, but crazier things have happened in the NFL.

Eagles to sign WR A.J. Brown to three-year extension

The Eagles and star WR A.J. Brown agreed to terms on a new 3-year extension for $96M, the highest for any WR in NFL history. He’s now under contract through 2029 & his total guarantee of $84M is also the highest.

The Eagles are not messing around with their top two receivers, inking this deal just 10 days after locking in DeVonta Smith. Jalen Hurts remains insulated with high-level talent.

The Lions have a deal for one of the top young talents. They agreed on an extension for WR Amon-Ra St. Brown. He gets four years and more than $120M, with $77M guaranteed.

Fantasy Impact:

Good move for the Lions, who lock in their No. 1 pass-catching option. They will still likely address the position in the NFL Draft, but that shouldn't impact St. Brown.

Fantasy Impact:

It's hard to picture this prohibiting the team from taking a QB in the NFL Draft but it certainly insulates them a little bit if they end up unable to move up where they want. Wilson's dynasty SuperFlex value will at least improve in the short term.
