This seems like a bit of an overpay for a tight end who has failed to flourish. His career-high in receiving yards is 333, which was collected his rookie year (2018). Head coach Matt Rhule needs to decide if Thomas has any offensive future with the team drafting Tommy Tremble in 2021.

Rams HC Sean McVay told the media Monday that TE Tyler Higbee (MCL sprain) is day-to-day and will not practice to start this week.

Zero surprise regarding Higbee's status. His potential absence would open the door for Kendall Blanton and create a way to save salary in DFS.

WR Will Fuller posted an Instagram picture showing that he had surgery on his problematic left finger that cost him all but 65 snaps this past season.

Injuries once again cost Fuller a chunk of another season. Hopefully 2022 brings him better injury luck.

Bengals TE C.J. Uzomah (MCL sprain) told reporters Monday that he feels "really, really good" ahead of Super Bowl LVI. Uzomah also credited Nick Cosgray and his work on his Achilles injury last season in his trust with playing Sunday.

While it is great to hear Uzomah's optimism, the trainers and HC Zac Taylor have final say on his availability. Uzomah's injury is one of the most important to monitor on the offensive side of the ball.

Rams HC Sean McVay told reporters that the only injury status that concerns him heading into Super Bowl week is that of TE Tyler Higbee (MCL). RB Cam Akers has not practiced this week, but it was planned.

If Higbee does not play, Kendall Blanton becomes the salary relief play on the Rams side for DFS. It is also somewhat reassuring to see McVay open and honest about injuries heading into the season finale.

Brady will go down as the best quarterback in NFL history. His departure from the NFL now leaves the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a hole at QB. Kyle Trask and Blaine Gabbert were behind Brady on the Bucs depth chart in 2021.
