Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill's 2026 status in question

With surgery today, it’s possible that Tyreek Hill will undergo additional surgeries. There is no guarantee he’ll be ready for 2026.

None of his 2026 salary is guaranteed now, but $11M (of $29.9M) becomes fully guaranteed if he’s on the roster in March, plus a $5M roster bonus.

Fantasy Impact:

The Tyreek injury saps some explosiveness out of a Dolphins offense based on it. We should expect more work out of Waddle, while the WR2 role is theoretically Washington's, though it will likely be spread around to a number of faces. We'll have to see exactly how that plays out in the upcoming weeks.

MIA WR Tyreek Hill - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Cleveland Browns

Despite no Jaylen Waddle, Tyreek Hill only saw 7 targets against the 49ers. Hill's 7 targets were tied for the team lead with De'Von Achane, but Jonnu Smith also saw six as well. Unfortunately, Hill only turned them into 3 catches for 29 yards but did salvage his day with a touchdown. It's a far cry from his early-season workload.

The Browns are 22nd in aFPA against wide receivers, so it is a solid spot for Hill. Unfortunately, it looks like Waddle will be back this week for Hill managers. That doesn't change a ton, but Hill takes a slight dock with him back. He's WR13 overall on the week and should be in your lineup.
