Dolphins hoping WR DeVante Parker stepping up

The Miami Dolphins were hurting at receiver last week. Starters Jarvis Landry (shoulder) and Kenny Stills (calf) both missed significant practice time leading into Sunday’s win over the San Diego Chargers because of injuries.

Miami needed an X-factor to step up offensively and got one in second-year wide receiver DeVante Parker. The former first-round pick led the Dolphins with 103 receiving yards on five receptions. Parker had the longest gain of the day for Miami with a 56-yard reception in the second half.

Fantasy Impact: 

Parker has tons of talent and potential but has mostly been quiet this season. The Dolphins had high expectations for Parker entering his second season, but a nagging hamstring injury has slowed him since training camp. He missed the regular-season opener and had his first 100-yard game in Week 2 against the New England Patriots.
