Is Sports Betting Legal in North Carolina?

Yes. A sports betting bill, HB 347, was signed into law by Gov. Roy Cooper on June 14, 2023. This bill legalized online sports betting which goes into effect on January 8, 2024. the state then has to launch legal sports betting within 12 months.
