Week 3 DraftKings & FanDuel Showdown Strategy: Sunday Night NFL DFS for Rams @ Broncos
Make us preferred on GoogleSunday Night Football in Week 3 features an exciting West Coast matchup between the Broncos and a Rams team that many expected to be the league’s best entering the season. As elsewhere around the NFL this week, a plethora of injuries will be key to understanding how to break down this game.
On the Broncos side, J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey will both be active despite being limited in practice earlier in the week, while Jonah Coleman will be sidelined after being placed on injured reserve just days after a solid Week 2 fantasy performance in which he found the end zone. The Broncos backfield is hard to parse, and there is significant volatility surrounding how best to play it. Volatility is something we shy away from in other formats, but for showdown contests, which are highly volatile themselves, I’m more willing to embrace it.
The Rams side is more dramatic, primarily because Puka Nacua is likely to miss another game; he’s doubtful for Sunday night. His anticipated absence opens up a ton of volume in the Rams passing game to be allocated elsewhere. Diving into where that volume might go and exploiting the uncertainty provides another opportunity to find DFS angles for Sunday night’s showdown.
