NFL Spread and O/U Picks: Hunter's Week 2 Best Bets:
Football is back! I can only watch so many ranked college teams pounding the piss out of Nobody State before I get a little worn down, so it was refreshing to finally get some good games on TV (excluding the Browns). More importantly, Scott Hansen and RedZone are once again the driver of my Sunday routines.
As for the numbers, this was honestly the closest I’ve ever been with the market on lines coming into the season. In 2025, I had 15 picks out for Week 1, compared to just 8 total in Week 9. That looks like it may continue into Week 2 as both the market and I get some answers to questions we still have on teams.
Week 1 recap: We went 3-5-1 on the week for -4.66 units. It ended with a rare push on an under in the Sunday Night Football game. I had the right read on the game playing slow, but missed the fact that quite literally every drive in the second half would end in a touchdown. We would have also been golden if I had just stayed content with the Ravens/Colts over, but I liked the Colts OL matchup just a little too much.
