Playing in a 10-team league can be fun because of the ability to have more talented rosters. Even with the ninth pick, you will likely come away with great options in the first and second rounds. A shallower league also means there will likely be better options available on the waiver wire during the season, so taking risks in your draft is more palatable.
In this article, I will walk you through the ideal players to draft out of this position for every single round of the draft, using Yahoo ADP to guide the available candidates.

My Plan of Attack When Drafting 9th in 10-Team Yahoo Half-PPR League
Roster Settings: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (WR/RB/TE), 1 Kicker, 1 DEF, 7 bench spots
I want to attack running back early. After my first two picks, I think there is a significant drop in talent at the position. Since this is a shallower league, I can load up on wide receivers and take some risks at the position as the draft moves along. I’m also comfortable waiting to select a quarterback, since the league will only start 10 of them on a weekly basis.
