Fantasy Football Defense Streaming Week 4: Charged Up to Face the Giants Rookie QB
It was a bizarre week in the DST streets in Week 3 as blocked kicks, defensive touchdowns, and return touchdowns impacted scoring way more than usual. DST scoring was way up as the two highest individual scores of the season were this week and four of the top five scores of the season happened this week.
Ok, so maybe talent on defense matters just a little bit. I think the Bengals will be on the do not play list moving forward. With injuries on the offensive line, quarterback, and running back the Bengals still put up a dud. The Seahawks and Commanders were two of the top defenses on the week and were both smash picks. Unfortunately, the Packers finished T-12 for the week so we’ll take a draw on that, but still not a bad play. Overall, 2-1-1 for the week, and 5-3-2 overall for the year. We’ll keep improving this week.

Brian Daboll is no longer letting Russ cook as it was announced that Jaxson Dart will start at quarterback this week. The Chargers have two dud weeks and one stud week (in Week 2 against the Raiders) so it’s not like this is a great fantasy DST that just has low rostership, they are up-and-down, but the matchup this week is great with the rookie getting his first start. Even if we expect him to play better than Wilson, it may not be this week.
Outside of the shootout against the Cowboys, the Giants have been held in check by the Commanders and Chiefs. Kansas City just had their highest DST score of the year last week, so fire up the Chargers with confidence this week if you need to stream.
