Thursday night brings one of the biggest NBA slates we’ve seen in a while, with the NBA cup tournament over and the league returning to a more normal schedule. We have 12 games on FanDuel but only 11 games on DraftKings, with the late-night SAC/POR game removed from the DraftKings slate. It’s a massive day for injury news, with most of the Knicks (O.G. Anunoby, Josh Hart, Mitchell Robinson, and Karl-Anthony Towns), Tari Eason, Kyle Kuzma, Cole Anthony, Jakob Poeltl, Anthony Davis, Naji Marshall, Branson Williams, Grayson Allen, and Dennis Schroder listed as Questionable. Players who are out include Kristaps Porzingis, Collin Sexton, Tyler Herro, Cam Thomas, James Harden, Isaiah Hartenstein, Khris Middleton, Al Horford, Deandre Ayton, and Austin Reaves.
This is becoming a standard caveat for this article, but with so many Questionable players, it will be absolutely critical to pay attention to the injury news and starting lineups. Even minor injuries can disrupt the slate when a minimum-priced player gets surprisingly elevated into the starting lineup, so with late swap, it’s essential to monitor the starting lineups on a slate this large with so many injury situations.
