Week 12 IDP Matchups to Exploit & Streaming Options

In this space, the weekly targets will range from individual players and positional groups to entire defensive units. IDP leagues are like snowflakes, so if you have specific questions, jump into our subscriber Discord, find the IDP channel, and tag me with any questions you have. Some of you play in leagues where all of these players are already owned, and some of you play in IDP leagues where only 3-4 players are rostered on each team, so the players listed below might not even be on your radar, so don't be afraid to reach out.

Week 12 IDP Matchups to Exploit

Seattle Seahawks Pass Rush vs. Tennessee Titans

The Titans remain low-hanging fruit for us every week. It's a great week to play your Seahawks, especially along the defensive line. No quarterback has been sacked more than Cam Ward this season (41), a combination of below-average offensive line play and a league-leading 28% pressure-to-sack rate from the rookie.

Leonard Williams should be universally rostered and started, but other pieces like Byron Murphy (DT), DeMarcus Lawrence (Edge), and Uchenna Nwosu (Edge) could be great spot starts this week with four teams on a bye.

Cleveland Browns vs. Las Vegas Raiders

This game could be a disaster aesthetically, but it offers a ton of IDP upside. We'll likely see two of the game's top defensive players taking turns teeing off on porous offensive lines and over-matched quarterbacks. The Raiders don't offer a lot of pass-rushing juice outside of Maxx Crosby, but Shedeur Sanders might be the tide to raise all ships. Deeper leagues should consider Tyree Wilson, who offers pedigree and the second-highest snap rate at edge for Las Vegas.

For the Browns, we could see another multi-sack game for the soon-to-be Defensive Player of the Year, Myles Garrett. Garrett also creates opportunities for his supporting cast. Geno Smith does a good job at getting the ball out quickly when pressured, but that's getting tougher now with injuries along the offensive line piling up in front of him. The Browns' ancillary pieces all play a respectable amount of snaps each week, too, so Maliek Collins (DT), Mason Graham (DT), Alex Wright (Edge), and Isaiah McGuire (Edge) are all viable spot starts given the matchup.
