Scott Smith’s Best Bets for UFC 285: Jones vs Gane

John Jones makes his long-awaited heavyweight debut against Cyril Gane for the vacant UFC Heavyweight Title. Jones, who may be the greatest MMA fighter of all time, returns after a three-year hiatus from the cage in an attempt to add to his ongoing legacy. The Co-Main event features one of the best female fighters in history; Valentina Shevchenko defending her title for the 8th time against Alexa Grasso. Add in the debut of Bo Nickal and a myriad of other exciting fighters, and this card has the makings to please the masses. Many of the lines are juiced, but I feel comfortable with some of the chalkier plays in our parlay this week.
