All but the luckiest fantasy owners at some point need to find the proverbial diamond in the rough—a waiver wire or bench player capable of putting up some points in a pinch. This weekly feature is dedicated to that part of fantasy football. It's not pretty, but it's part of the game.


Jared Goff, Lions (vs. WAS, 32)

After a slow start, Goff finished with 215 yards and two touchdowns in a furious comeback against the Eagles. This game has a total of 49.0 and the Lions are actually favored, so Vegas expects Detroit to put up some points. The Commanders were dreadful against quarterbacks last season yielded 275/1 to Trevor Lawrence in Week 1.
