Daigle's Top Picks: Week 13

I begin my research for DFS tournaments every week by sifting through what our opponents are doing and engineering lineups backward from there.

These top plays, though viable for cash games (which will be noted throughout), are suggested specifically for tournaments and are weighted for ceiling projection, matchup, ownership, and value. I will include any thoughts on game theory within my reasoning for each player.

They are listed in order of descending price, not by my personal rankings

Quarterbacks

Jalen Hurts, Eagles ($8,000 DraftKings, $8,800 FanDuel)

The Eagles won’t be able to dominate on the ground for the second straight game given that the Titans have not allowed a single player to rush for more than 66 yards since Week 2. But Hurts can certainly reach his ceiling through the air against Tennessee’s league-high rate of three/four-man pass rushes, which the former has scorched for a 70% completion rate and 8.6 yards per attempt. The Titans should help push Philadelphia’s offense with the league’s ninth-highest pass play rate since Ryan Tannehill returned from injury in Week 10.
