10 ADP Risers & Fallers After Preseason Week 4
With the legit circus that went down this past weekend in the NFL, players’ ADP went just as nuts as fantasy football twitter did amid all the various trades and cuts that took place.
Analyzing BB10 ADP from week-to-week during the preseason is helpful to gather an overall impression of where players are being drafted. Drafters of BB10 best-ball leagues tend to be sharper than your average fantasy football participant, so you may find players will slip a bit further in some leagues than others.
In other words, ADP data is very useful but is not everything, so don’t ride or die with it.
In this piece, I’ll take a look at some of the biggest risers and fallers from the last week of the preseason, comparing their ADP from August 26th to September 2nd, and how you should approach them moving forward. A player’s ADP can change for a plethora of reasons and diving into the cause of that movement can certainly help with all your last-minute drafts.

Biggest Fallers
Darwin Thompson – RB, Chiefs (-28 overall ADP)
Here’s how this went down in a nutshell. Buffalo cut LeSean McCoy in favor of Devin Singletary, Frank Gore and T.J. Yeldon. McCoy then signed a one-year deal with the Chiefs, reuniting the 30-year old RB with former coach Andy Reid. There are victory laps being taken on all sides of this trade, but no matter what happens, drafters are now wary of Thompson’s role in the Kansas City backfield.
As the main backup to a divisive Damien Williams, Thompson’s ADP had risen to the ninth round, but slid down to the 11th over the past few days.
Equanimeous St. Brown – WR, Packers (- 25 overall ADP)
The St. Brown truthers (I know you’re out there) will have to wait another season to see production out of the Packers wideout. He suffered a brutal high-ankle sprain in their third preseason game, sending the sophomore WR to the IR for the 2019 season.
Damarea Crockett – RB, Raiders (-23 overall ADP)
