Week 3 Fantasy Football Practice News & Notes for Friday

Jaguars QB Blake Bortles (right wrist) took full practice reps all week. Bortles will be out there in a tough matchup against a good Baltimore defense.

Vikings QB Sam Bradford (knee, out) missed practice Friday after taking limited reps Thursday and is out for Week 3. With Bradford out, we have to downgrade the entire Minnesota offense. The Bucs defense looks like a good streaming option after a great outing against the Bears in Week 2.

Jaguars QB Chad Henne (illness, questionable) missed practice Friday and is questionable for Week 3.

Colts QB Andrew Luck (right shoulder, out) missed practice all week and is out for Week 3. Jacoby Brissett gets another start, which is bad news for T.Y. Hilton and Co. Only Jack Doyle seems to have any chemistry with Brissett.

Broncos QB Paxton Lynch (right shoulder, out) missed practice all week and is out for Week 3.

Panthers QB Cam Newton (right shoulder, ankle, questionable) took limited practice reps all week and is questionable for Week 3. Newton will be fine to play in a fantastic matchup against a New Orleans defense that has been shredded by Sam Bradford and Tom Brady in the last two weeks.

Cardinals QB Carson Palmer (not injury related) missed practice Friday. Arizona plays on Monday night, so this is just a rest day for Palmer. He’s set up for a good game in a good matchup at home with no David Johnson to lean on.

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (not injury related) took full practice reps again Friday. No worries here.

Bears QB Mark Sanchez (neck) was removed from the injury report Friday after taking full practice reps Thursday.
