FanDuel Week 4 GPP Breakdown
If you’re relatively new to FanDuel, I’d highly recommend playing the Beginner Huddle and Experienced Players Excluded Huddle this week. Both tournaments are only $3 and pay over 20% of the field, with only 10% of the money being raked.
If you’re looking for a larger payday, the $200K Snap with $10K going to first place (there is a Snap with $20K to first) is a great value at the $2 level and the Sunday Million pays out the highest percentage of entries of any featured tournament priced at $5 or above.
During the offseason, Chris Raybon and I put together a set of guidelines for FanDuel GPPs. These guidelines are meant to serve as a convenient reference to use while you build your lineups.
In addition to the handy guidelines, always keep in mind the principles outlined in the Definitive Guide to Stacking on FanDuel, and you’ll be well on your way to the top of the leaderboard.
Joe Flacco $7,700 vs OAK - Don’t let Week 3 make you think that the Oakland defense magically got right. Marcus Mariota is the only quarterback to face Oakland or Detroit this season and not post at least 26.5 FD points. Even after Tennessee’s abysmal effort on offense, the Raiders defense still ranks 27th in both touchdown rate and fantasy points per attempt allowed to opposing quarterbacks.
Of all teams with an implied point total above 24, Baltimore has the highest relative team total and is projected to score almost a full touchdown over their PPG average this year. That expected uptick in scoring should benefit the passing game, as Baltimore has thrown on almost two-thirds of their red zone plays this year. Flacco also makes for a nice price pivot off of Kirk Cousins, who figures to be one of the highest-owned quarterbacks of the week.
