Week 16 at Oakland
Moncrief practiced fully twice this week and does not have an injury designation on the Colts' injury report. He will return at Oakland after one week out (hamstring), and his impressive touchdown streak will be back on the line. He has scored in 11 of his past 15 games with Andrew Luck at quarterback. Moncrief likely faces Oakland DB Sean Smith. Smith was responsible for two scores last week. Put Moncrief on your radar in 3-WR leagues.
Week 15 at Minnesota
Donte Moncrief is out Week 15. Get him out of your lineups.
Week 14 vs. Houston
All Donte Moncrief does is score touchdowns. He has scored in every game he has finished this season. Overall, he's scored ten touchdowns in his last 12 games with Andrew Luck. That's not a coincidence. It's a bonafide trend. Lock in Moncrief as a WR2 in Week 14.
Week 13 at New York Jets
The Jets secondary has allowed 12 touchdowns this season to opposing receivers. Donte Moncrief has scored nine times in his last 11 games with Andrew Luck and scored again last week without Luck, to give him a touchdown in every full game he's played this season. That makes him again a good bet for your starting lineup in Week 13 as, at minimum, a WR2.
Week 12 vs. Pittsburgh
Whereas Moncrief has scored a touchdown in nine of this last 11 games with Andrew Luck at quarterback, last season without Luck, Moncrief only scored one touchdown in nine games. Moncrief eclipsed 75 yards in just two of those nine games without Luck. So for Week 12 against the Steelers, Moncrief drops out of the top-30 WRs in all formats.
Week 11 vs. Tennessee
Before the bye week, guess what. Moncrief scored again. That made eight touchdowns in his last ten games with Andrew Luck. He did not play due to injury in the first game this year between the Colts and the Titans, but his red zone usage provides great FLEX appeal in Week 11. Consider him that, at worst, in Week 11, and a solid WR2 otherwise.
Moncrief returned to action last week and scored again. That makes seven touchdowns in his last nine games with Andrew Luck. His role as a primary red zone weapon makes him a solid start Week 9 against the Packers. Consider him a mid to low WR2/FLEX with high WR2 upside in a plus match-up.
Week 8 at Kansas City
Moncrief returned to practice this week on a limited basis and should be good to go against the Chiefs. Snap count is always a concern in a player's first game back from injury, however, Moncrief's chemistry with Andrew Luck puts him on the flex radar this week. Moncrief has scored in six of his last eight full games with Luck under center.
Week 2 at Denver
Moncrief has now scored in six of the eight games he's played with Andrew Luck dating back to last year, after his 6-64-1 performance against the Lions last week. Facing Denver on the road is a different test though, as he was held to just three receptions for 30 yards and no touchdown against the Broncos last season. He's a borderline flex play this week, with the hope his red zone chemistry with Luck continues.
Week 1 vs. Detroit
Moncrief scored in five of seven games with Andrew Luck last season, and he's primed to start 2016 on the right foot in a game against the Lions that has one of the highest projected point totals of the week. The Lions defense was also bottom ten in the league in fantasy points allowed to receivers last season. Moncrief should be in your lineups as a WR2 or Flex, regardless of scoring format.
