DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 17, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 – Ronnie Hillman vs. San Diego
It was another struggle for Ronnie Hillman last week versus the Bengals, as he ran for just 35 yards on nine carries. He did catch four passes for 37 yards, but it was C.J. Anderson’s determination 39-yard TD that was the big Broncos run of the night. Ronnie has been held under 50 rushing yards in three straight. While he ran for 56 yards in the win over the Bolts in Week 13, Hillman should remain at best an RB3/flex play.

DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 16, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Cincinnati
With C.J. Anderson still nursing a sore ankle last week in Pittsburgh, Ronnie Hillman led the Broncos ground attack, but amassed just 48 yards on 14 carries, including a lost fumble. In the past two games he has 26 carries for only 68 yards and has not been in the end zone in three straight. Anderson should receive more playing time on Monday night, limiting Ronnie’s touches. Hillman makes for a RB3/flex play against a Cincinnati D that yields just 93 yards per game on the ground.

DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 15, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Pittsburgh
Even though C.J. Anderson was active with a sore ankle last Sunday against Oakland, Ronnie Hillman and Juwan Thompson handled all of the Broncos RB workload. It wasn’t pretty though, as Ronnie ran for just 20 yards on 12 carries; but he did have a good day receiving, finishing with seven grabs for 41 yards. Anderson should be able to play this week, which means he and Hillman will both see comparable action. Against the No. 6 defense versus the run, Hillman is more of an RB3/flex play.

DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 14, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Oakland
Last Sunday in San Diego, Ronnie Hillman led the Broncos running attack with 19 carries for 56 yards. With C.J. Anderson nursing a sore ankle, Ronnie accounted for almost half of the team’s rushes. Anderson may be out this week versus the Raiders, so expect Hillman to again receive most of the rushing attempts if that's the case. In Week 6 at Oakland, Hillman was held to 21 yards on seven carries, but should do much better in the rematch with Brock Osweiler under center.

DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at San Diego
Facing a good New England run defense last Sunday in the snow, Ronnie Hillman ran for 59 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. He again split time with C.J. Anderson, who received 15 carries and scored twice. Since Brock Osweiler took over at QB two games ago, Ronnie has rushed for 161 yards and the Broncos ground game has been impressive. Look for that trend to continue at San Diego against the No. 26 defense versus the run. Hillman should be considered RB2 material.

DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. New England
With Brock Osweiler forcing the Bears to respect the passing game last week, Ronnie Hillman recorded his third 100-yard game of the season. He finished with 102 yards on 21 carries, with a long run of 15 yards. As long as the ground game is working, Denver’s offense can move the football, regardless of who is at QB. New England ranks No. 2 versus the run however, making Hillman a RB2 play on Sunday night.

DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Chicago
The Broncos got pounded last week against Kansas City, but it wasn’t a complete waste if you started Ronnie Hillman. He wound up with 42 yards and a TD on 11 carries – not great, but the late score helped. C.J. Anderson had only two carries in the loss, but now that Brock Osweiler is the Denver QB, expect the Denver offense to continue to search for a run game, which means both RBs should receive a decent amount of playing time. Hillman makes for an RB2 play in Chicago against the No. 26 defense at stopping the run.
