Matt Stover

Former Ravens placekicker Matt Stover said he will not be trying out for the New Orleans Saints, and he expected the Saints to go with John Carney, who played with the Saints last year.

Stover, 42, the Ravens all time leading scorer, played for Baltimore from 1996 to 2008. The Saints are looking for a kicker to replace Garrett Hartley, who missed a 29 yard attempt that would have won the game for the Saints Sunday against the Falcons. Stover played for the Colts last season and played in the Super Bowl where Indianapolis lost to New Orleans.
