HOU WR Keith Mumphery - Week 8, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Tennessee
Even though Brian Hoyer threw the ball 49 times in the loss to the Dolphins last Sunday, Keith Mumphery was targeted only three times, leading to just a 16-yard reception. DeAndre Hopkins and Nate Washington will continue to receive the majority of the looks from Hoyer, meaning there’s no reason for the rookie to be taking up a fantasy roster spot.

HOU WR Keith Mumphery - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Jacksonville
With Nate Washington and Cecil Shorts out last Thursday against Indy, Keith Mumphery got the start and finished with four grabs for 23 yards. DeAndre Hopkins’ 169 yards accounted for nearly half of Ryan Mallett’s and Brian Hoyer’s 362 combined passing yards, and, fellow rookie Jaelen Strong ended up with both of the team’s TDs in the loss. If Shorts or Washington are back, Mumphery will be relegated to the third WR option and should not be a fantasy option.

HOU WR Keith Mumphery - Week 5, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Indianapolis
With Cecil Shorts out and Nate Washington nursing a sore hamstring during a short week, Keith Mumphery would be the next WR up for the Texans. If Washington can't go, expect Houston to lean on Arian Foster and the ground game even more than normal (with DeAndre Hopkins seeing a majority of the pass attempts). The rookie from Michigan State caught four passes for 56 yards in the loss to the Falcons and will definitely see some looks on Thursday night. However, only start Mumphery if you're out of other options.
