Scouting report

WAS QB Jayden Daniels - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Tennessee Titans

Week 12 was a welcome return to form for Jayden Daniels, who has run somewhat cold over the last few weeks. Daniels is the QB6 in fantasy points per game in 2024 but over the last four weeks, he’s been the QB14. He should be able to build on his strong outing against the Cowboys with a matchup against the Titans this week. The Titans rank 23rd in aFPA to quarterbacks in 2024. Daniels can be started as a solid QB1 in Week 13.

WAS QB Jayden Daniels - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Dallas Cowboys

It’s been a quiet few weeks in fantasy for Jayden Daniels, who is the QB7 in points per game despite only averaging 16 points in the last four weeks. Assuming he is fully healthy, which his coach is insisting upon, Daniels should be able to return to form in Week 12 with the listing Dallas Cowboys on deck. The Cowboys have been an everything funnel this season and rank 27th in aFPA to quarterbacks. Daniels projects as a mid-tier QB1 this week.

WAS QB Jayden Daniels - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Philadelphia Eagles

Week 10 was something of a disappointment for Jayden Daniels and his fantasy managers. The Commanders' rookie stud finished as the QB21, a long way off his seasonal average of QB6 in points per game. He doesn't seem to be getting work around the goal line, which has had a massive knock on his fantasy output of late. The Eagles have shut down fantasy quarterbacks this season and rank fourth in aFPA to passers. Daniels is still a high-end QB1 projection in Week 11, but a few touchdowns wouldn't hurt.

WAS QB Jayden Daniels - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Pittsburgh Steelers

The strong play of rookie sensation Jayden Daniels has translated into fantasy success, with the Commanders quarterback sitting at QB4 in points per game in 2024. His ability to influence the game as a passer and a runner should allow him to remain a high-end fantasy option despite a tough matchup against a Steelers team that ranks third in aFPA to quarterbacks. It'll be tough, but if you have Daniels you are not benching him this week.

WAS QB Jayden Daniels - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs Carolina Panthers

In a loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Jayden Daniels still came through in fantasy, posting 21.0 fantasy points on his way to a respectable QB9 for the week. Daniels has been pretty much everything his fantasy managers could ask for this season and currently sits at QB3 in points per game.

The matchup in Week 7 really could hardly be sweeter, as the Panthers currently rank 30th in aFPA to quarterbacks. Daniels should smash this week and is in with a legitimate chance to finish as the QB1 overall this week.

WAS QB Jayden Daniels - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Baltimore Ravens

Jayden Daniels has been everything we hoped he would be, as a passer and a runner, through the first five weeks of his rookie season. He has translated his success on the field into outstanding fantasy production, and currently averages 22.7 fantasy points per game. That’s good enough for QB2 on the year.

Daniels could be in for another big day against a Ravens defense that, one game aside, has not exactly been a shutdown unit in 2024. They rank 26th in aFPA to quarterbacks this season, putting Daniels in a prime position to deliver another top-tier QB1 performance.

WAS QB Jayden Daniels - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Cleveland Browns/strong>

Jayden Daniels has made an incredible start to his NFL career, a fact he highlighted with another strong fantasy showing in Week 4. Daniels passed for 233 yards and a touchdown while adding another score and 47 yards on the ground on his way to 24 fantasy points.

Simply put, there are not many quarterbacks you can confidently start ahead of Daniels in fantasy football at the moment. He should certainly be in your lineups in Week 5 with a clash against a Cleveland Browns defense that ranks 10th in aFPA to quarterbacks. Daniels has as good a chance as any to finish as the overall QB1 this week.
