SF WR Jauan Jennings - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Arizona Cardinals

Jauan Jennings put up another solid outing against the Patriots, again leading the way in receiving yards (88) and targets (6). He only ran 18 routes. At some point, you have to think Brandon Aiyuk will get back to his old self and Deebo Samuel should be healthy again, so Jennings may eventually go back to the WR3. But for now, he's worthy of consideration for a flex spot.

SF WR Jauan Jennings - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. New England Patriots

With Deebo Samuel and George Kittle out, Jauan Jennings had himself a day in Week 3 against the Rams. He saw 12 targets and hauled in 11 of them for 175 yards and three touchdowns. Samuel may be back this week, so Jennings steps down a notch from a fantasy perspective, but is still worth a look in deeper leagues and would get a boost in value if Samuel is unable to play. We'll know for sure at about 2:30 Sunday afternoon with the game being a 4:05 kickoff.

SF WR Jauan Jennings - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Minnesota Vikings

Jauan Jennings came in for Deebo Samuel last week and caught two of his four targets for 26 yards. Jennings is looking likely to start this week in a nice matchup against the Vikings with Samuel expected to miss the game, but he’s too risky to trust in fantasy lineups. He’ll still be no better than the third or fourth option in the passing game - depending on Christian McCaffrey’s status - and there may not be enough volume to go around. Look elsewhere.

SF WR Jauan Jennings - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Tennessee Titans

Jauan Jennings had a touchdown last week, which is nice, but what is most intriguing is his target-share the last two weeks. He has 11 targets in the past two games, and was looked to far more often than Brandon Aiyuk was against the Falcons. That may not translate into production, but he’s worth an end-of-roster spot on your bench in case this continues going into the final weeks of the season.
