GB WR Geronimo Allison - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Detroit Lions
Geronimo Allison got a season-high six targets last week with Davante Adams out, but he didn't exactly do a lot with them, catching just two passes for 28 yards. Adams is out again this week, but Detroit's pass defense is sneaky good. If you're going to use Allison this week, do so as a flex option and hope he gets into the end zone. Aaron Rodgers does seem to like to throw it to him down there.

GB WR Geronimo Allison - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Dallas Cowboys
With Davante Adams likely out, Geronimo Allison could see additional time outside the slot in two-receiver sets. It also could mean additional targets. He hasn't gotten more than four in a game yet this season, including last week when he had three catches for 52 yards and a score. That's his second touchdown of the season despite the low volume. Aaron Rodgers seems to look for him in close. That makes him a WR3 start this week.

GB WR Geronimo Allison - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Denver Broncos
After going without an "official" target in Week 1 -- some say a TD pass caught by Jimmy Graham was intended for Geronimo Allison -- Allison got five targets last week, catching four passes for 25 yards and a touchdown. It's hard to suggest starting Allison given his low output thus far, but he's always a threat to score. But Denver has allowed just one passing touchdown thus far this season.

GB WR Geronimo Allison - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Minnesota Vikings
Geronimo Allison not only failed to record a catch in Week 1, but he also didn't get a single target -- though a touchdown pass to Jimmy Graham might have been intended for Allison. But better days are ahead. Don't give up on Allison just yet. In his one game against the Vikings last season, Allison got six targets, catching all six for 64 yards. He shouldn't be in your lineup this week, but keep an eye on the production before giving up on Allison.

GB WR Geronimo Allison - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at Chicago
Geronimo Allison played in just five games last season, but one was against the Bears. In that game. Allison got eight targets, catching five for 69 yards and a touchdown. He'll work primarily out of the slot, which also bodes well for him as Aaron Rodgers might want to get the ball out of his hands quickly to slow the pass rush. Allison is a nice sleeper play this week as a flex option with some upside.

GB WR Geronimo Allison - 2019 Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy Upside
It looks like Geronimo Allison will replace Randall Cobb as the Packers' main slot receiver. That's a nice, defined role in this offense for Allison heading into year four. He also has the size and speed to be a real matchup problem for opponents in that role.

Fantasy Downside
With Davante Adams getting the lion's share of targets, will there be enough to make Allison a player worth starting? Also, his injury history -- including playing in just five games in 2018 -- is troubling.

2019 Bottom Line
Allison played in just five games in 2018, but had 20 catches on 30 targets for 303 yards and two scores. He seems to have nice chemistry with Aaron Rodgers. If Allison can stay healthy, he could offer nice production from a late-round pick. But can he stay healthy? His ADP is placing him between rounds 10-12, which is a nice spot to grab him. He's got a great QB situation.

GB WR Geronimo Allison - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at New England Patriots

Geronimo Allison returned last week after being out the previous two games but caught just one pass for 14 yards. Really, at this point, it's a roll of the dice to think he'll be a big performer again. Others have emerged in his absence and he's now dealing with a hamstring injury, as well. Only use him as a flex option if you don't have anyone else.
