GB WR Geronimo Allison - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at L.A. Rams

Geronimo Allison missed the two games leading into the bye week with a hamstring injury. And he remained limited with the injury this week. But limited is better than not being out there at all. The last time we saw him on the field, he was hauling in six passes for 80 yards. So if he plays this week, expect WR3 production with WR2 upside in what promises to be a shootout. But hamstrings can be tricky.

GB WR Geronimo Allison - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. San Francisco 49ers

All of the momentum Geronimo Allison had coming off his six-catch, 80-yard effort against Buffalo two weeks ago was dampened by him sitting out last week with a concussion. He's expected to return this week, which is good news. Davante Adams should garner most of the 49ers' attention in the secondary, leaving Allison with one-on-one coverage. He's a low-end WR3/flex option play to save up for Monday night.

GB WR Geronimo Allison - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Detroit Lions

Geronimo Allison is coming off another solid game with a 6-80-0 line on 11 targets, but he's also dealing with a concussion. Check his status Friday. If he's ready to go then, he should be good. If he doesn't make it out of protocol by Friday designation time, it could be tough for him to work his way out of it. If Allison plays, he's a nice WR3 option. But be careful here.

GB WR Geronimo Allison - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Buffalo Bills

Geronimo Allison had just two catches last week but one was a 64-yard TD catch and run as he posted a season-high 76 yards. His target share has decreased in each of the past three games but he has already scored twice this season. Allison remains a solid flex option in all formats because of his big-play ability and scoring potential. He's the new version of James Jones with a little more consistency.

GB WR Geronimo Allison - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Washington Redskins

Geronimo Allison caught six passes for 64 yards last week and has now caught 11 of his 14 targets this season. If he continues to get seven or so targets per game, that should firmly put him in WR3/flex play consideration each week. He's going to draw single coverage every week to be sure, which when you're playing with Aaron Rodgers means you're open.

GB WR Geronimo Allison - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Minnesota Vikings

Geronimo Allison got a healthy eight targets last week, hauling in five passes for 89 yards, including a 39-yard TD catch. That's a good start and makes him worth a shot in deeper leagues as a flex play. You'd like to see more before bumping him up higher. If Aaron Rodgers doesn't play, it could impact his value to be sure. With Davante Adams and Randall Cobb also having strong games last week, the Vikings won't be focusing on Allison. That could be a big benefit.

GB WR Geronimo Allison - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Chicago

Geronimo Allison saw his targets rise from 22 to 39 in his first two seasons. This year, he figures to double his total from last season. And with Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball, that's critical. Allison figures to see plenty of single coverage and everyone knows Rodgers likes to throw deep. Allison could be an interesting start as a flex player with some potential upside because of his QB situation.
